Our collaboration with Deltares
Deltares is an independent institute for applied research in the field of water and subsurface.
Ewaters Engineered Environments and Deltares collaborated on a pre-feasibility study for the Asian Development Bank's Xiangtan Low-Carbon Transformation project in China. The focus was on ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA) measures to address climate risks, particularly flood hazards. The work included flood risk assessments, the creation of conceptual designs for pilot areas, and the development of the Xiangtan Resilient City Toolbox to support sustainable urban planning. Training programs and workshops were also held to support local planning efforts and enhance resilience against heavy rainfall and flooding
